Why Gonoma was created
Combining names sounds simple until you try it. You write two names on paper, cut them in a few places, and quickly run out of ideas. Most of what you come up with is either hard to say or just the two names stuck together.
Gonoma was built to do that work for you. It tries many ways of joining the names you enter, removes the combinations that don’t sound right, and gives you a clean list to choose from. You still make the final decision. Gonoma just gives you far more options to consider than you’d likely find on your own.

What happens behind the scenes
Gonoma splits each name into syllables and sounds, then joins them in different ways: the start of one name with the end of another, halves swapped between names, blends on a shared letter, alternating syllables and, when you enter three or four names, combinations built from all of them. Each result shows which method created it.
